The jury notedIn recognition of a talent that makes the rest of us nervous, the evidence revealed an instinct for concrete that cannot be taught, the courage to choose green, and to keep choosing it and stop smoking, pursued with wholly unreasonable seriousness. We did not agree on much; we agreed on this. The phrase “Love you” is understood to have settled the discussion. We award it without reservation, and with a trace of envy.
